Francis Ngannou’s boxing career has just started, and he has already made enough noise in the MMA world that combat enthusiasts can’t wait to see their favorite fighter in the squared arena once again. In the middle of the hubbub, Joe Rogan came forward with a piece of advice for the fighter.

Rogan recently engaged in a conversation with ‘The Rock’ on his podcast. During the conversation, Rogan claimed that Ngannou was a freak of nature, and no one believed he could fight Tyson Fury. “Terrence Crawford was sitting across where you are right now, and he’s like, “Zero chance. He’s going to get knocked out. Zero chance.” And then when he dropped Tyson Fury in the third round and was battering him in the 8th and at the 10th round at the end of the fight, I don’t know who won” said Rogan.

He further explained that Ngannou’s dominant fighting prowess has now put Fury’s Goat status in jeopardy. Johnson then inquired what Ngannou’s game plan for the future would be for Rogan. Rogan asserted that Ngannou should focus on making as much money as possible.

Rogan further added, “Get as much money as you can. This is what I think they should do: put him in with a heavyweight boxer that he could beat, someone who has a good record—like someone who’s in the argument of a top ten.” Rogan’s assessment seems right, but who could be Ngannou’s next opponent? Let’s find out.
