The recent beef between Joe Rogan and Tyson Fury was a surprise to many. The boxing heavyweight champion unloaded on Rogan for the UFC commentator’s recent claim. Fury’s rant went viral on social media rather quickly and divided fans. Now an ex-UFC star has given his take on the situation. Surprisingly, he is leaning toward Tyson Fury and not Rogan.

Tyson Fury recently went after Joe Rogan for claiming that UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones would best him in a fight. In one of the episodes, Rogan claimed that Jones would be the one walking out if he was locked in a room with Tyson Fury.

Fury did not entertain the take and sent a profanity-laden message to the 55-year-old. Since then, Jones has also responded and the two have been taking shots at each other on social media.

Now former UFC heavyweight and Rogan’s friend Brendan Schaub has chimed in on the situation. The 4-0-year-old had a rather surprising stance on the whole situation.

Speaking about the issue, Schaub said, “Rogan’s right when it comes to hand-to-hand combat but you know it’s not like an Anthony Joshua-Deontay Wilder situation with just straight boxers. Remember Fury’s a gypsy.”

He continued. “He’s gonna have to answer that wrestling and jiu-jitsu which is a complete disaster. Rogan’s right, but you gotta give Fury a little credit.”  Finally, he added, “To me, he’s the greatest of all time. Greatest heavyweight of all time.”

While Schaub was giving more credit to Fury, Jones sent him a few messages of his own. ‘Bones’ gave Fury the upper hand in boxing. However, he wanted no doubt about the fact that ‘The Gypsy King’ would not match him inside the octagon. The pair seems to have ceased fire after responding to each other via a few videos on social media.
