NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal is a hardcore MMA fan. O’Neal does not only watch the sport, but he has also trained in it. The former Lakers star also credited MMA to his success on the NBA court. Some time ago, Shaquille O’Neal also indulged in a conversation with UFC President Dana White.

Back in 2013, ahead of the fight between Georges St-Pierre and Nick Diaz, Dana White named two great fighters. The UFC President in his tweet wrote, “Im so pumped!!! RT @SHAQ: GSP is probly the greatest ufc fighter besides jon bones jones but I gotta go wit my boy mr Diaz what u think”

However, a user intervened White and disagreed with him. The user believed White wasn’t right, and wrote, “@danawhite @shaq Shaq GSP The Greatest?….. Do you take naps when Anderson Silva fights? GSP wins this tonight without doubt #Wager?”

This tweet by the user received the attention of Shaquille O’Neal. The four-time NBA champion responded to the user and tweeted, “@_coreywhite there both the greatest like Jordan n magic johnson

O’Neal’s answer was not satisfactory for the fan. In a counter to O’Neal’s tweet, the user wrote, ““@SHAQ: @_coreywhite there both the greatest like Jordan n magic johnson”~<> You wanna put a wager on the GSP vs Diaz? I got GSP

This isn’t the first time someone has disagreed with Shaquille O’Neal. A few years back, UFC color commentator Joe Rogan slammed the basketball legend for some of his claims.
