Joining this list is none other than Conor McGregor with the upcoming remake of Road House. However, there is another notable UFC-star cameo in movies that not many people know about.
The name is Dustin Poirier. Yes! You heard it right, the ‘Diamond’ has a blink-and-you-miss-it cameo in one of the most popular martial art movies ever. Released in 2011, fans still remember Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown is for its high-octane MMA action. The movie is about a mixed martial artist who prepares four young competitors for a challenging competition.
The movie features popular mixed martial artist and actor Michael Jai White, Dean Geyer, Alex Meraz, and many more. Interestingly, this film also features UFC veteran Lyoto Machida as himself. After almost a decade, fans have noticed UFC star Dustin Poirier in the movie. Ever since this news broke out, it has become a sizzling discussion on the internet. Michael Chandler takes a funny jibe at Dustin Poirier
Recently, a famous Instagram MMA page ‘poll_mma’ posted a video of Poirier’s cameo. Poirier shortly appears in the movie in a fight against one of the main characters, Mike Stokes. Contrary to any real-life situation, Poirier gets knocked out in the film in a surprisingly short amount of time. This clip generated a lot of buzz on Instagram, and fans had some wild reactions.

One of the most entertaining reactions was from Poirier’s former opponent, Michael Chandler himself. Fans know Chandler for his brawls in the octagon, and his wit outside of it. ‘Iron Mike’ did not miss a chance to take a jibe at Poirier.
