After spending 3 years on the sidelines, Jon Jones enters the Octagon on March 4 with the obvious intention of claiming the vacant heavyweight gold. ‘Bones’ finally made the much-awaited transition to the 265 lbs division after a decade-long anticipation. Further, a win against Ciryl Gane on Saturday night might cement his legacy as the GOAT in the promotion history. However, the Rochester native was on the receiving end of roasting by another UFC star, Colby Covington.

Notably, ‘Chaos’, on multiple occasions, has made a mockery of the former UFC champion. Previously, the Clovis native jabbed his former college roommate when the latter announced his split with Jessie Moses. Seizing the opportunity, the American wrestler asserted Jones “knocked some sense into her”. Continuing the tradition, the 35-year-old predicted the Albuquerque resident to become a victim of the French fighter.

The #2 ranked welterweight took to Instagram as he posted the latest segment of his entertaining America’s Pick of the Week. However, the overtone of the clip was a dig at the 26-1-1 record holder.

Thus, after reporting the details of the main event, the MMA Masters representative said, “It’s Ciryl Gane versus a part-time fighter and full-time felon, Johnny Bones Jones. Last time Johnny threw down in Vegas, he was detained by the Las Vegas Police Department and caught another charge.”
