Paddy Pimblett shocked to hear Liddell’s Bare-Knuckle MMA fight story

One interesting moment came when ‘The Baddy’ asked Liddell about his bare-knuckle MMA fight. ‘The Iceman’ responded by recounting a brutal 30-minute fight he had against a fighter named Pele in Brazil. According to Liddell, the ring had a net below it, and Pele got stuck in the net in the end while Liddell continued to land punches.

“It was in a ring and at the bottom of the ring they had a net. I mean, by the end of the fight, I had him pinned into that net. I am hitting him through the net. He is like stuck in the net getting hit in the face,” revealed ‘The Iceman’.

Despite Pele‘s injuries, the officials did not stop the fight, and Liddell emerged victorious. “But they didn’t stop it. He made all 30 minutes. He looked like the elephant man the next day”, said Liddell. The 53-year-old further revealed that elbow shots, headbutts, and “b*ll shots” were allowed in the fight.
