UFC and MMA fans have to thank Dana White for the kind of empire that he has created. There would be no UFC without White and his contribution to the sport of MMA is immeasurable. He has grown along with the organization. However, there is one possibility that this contribution would not be existing. According to Dana White’s mother, June White, she nearly died due to his son. This shocking revelation was made in her book ‘Dana White, King of MMA: Dana White an unauthorized biography’. She added more to the story in her book.

Dana White’s mother had only one year to live, according to the doctors

June White in her book revealed, “Throughout the pregnancy, I did not work.” Moreover, she added, “I had been very sick for the first seven months of the pregnancy and actually lost weight up until the eighth month. I had nausea and vomiting that was so severe I could rarely hold down any food and just the smell of food sent me running to the bathroom retching all the way.”

Furthermore, she revealed, “At times, the vomiting became so severe I would bring up large amounts of blood and clots and have to go to the emergency room to stop vomiting and bleeding they had diagnosed me as having a rare blood disease...” She was told she had “less than a year to live.

Luckily, one of the doctors prescribed the right tests, “One of the doctors treating me had included a pregnancy test with other blood work and it came back positive, everyone was shocked and very concerned for both my health and Dana’s.

However, that was the last time White put his mother in harm’s way. White recently revealed how he became the ‘man of the house’

In an interview with Grant Cordone, the UFC President said, “I don’t know if it’s like the day you become a man or whatever, but I knew that guy was screaming at my mother.” The UFC President revealed more when speaking about a bully in the neighborhood.

Furthermore, White added, “I f*cking ran out back and I jumped up on the wall and I was 15…” Moreover, he said how he threatened his bully. He added, “and I said, ‘You fat motherf*cker, I’m not 12 anymore. You stick your fat face over this wall again and I’m going to beat the sh*t out of you.’”
