The king of the middleweights, Israel Adesanya, never fails to take a jibe at his opponents in his own eccentric way. Right from Paulo Costa to Jon Jones, the list goes on. However, this time around he crossed paths with Jones’ & Jorge Masvidal‘s manager, Malki Kawa– CEO of First Round Management.
‘The Last Stylebender‘ took to his Twitter account and posted screenshots of Kawa sliding into his DMs back in 2016 when Adesanya was plying his trade in China.
A quick post and delete.
Glad I left him on seen.

As per Ariel Helwani’s social media post, Adesanya will serve as an analyst alongside “Sugar” Ray Leonard & Al Bernstein at Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr boxing match. Kawa saw the post and commented, ‘‘Good stuff. (Jorge Masvidal) turned it down.”
He deleted the comment, but the middleweight champion was quick enough to spot it beforehand. ‘Stylebender’ shared a couple of photos on his Twitter, one was about the deleted comment he spotted wherein the other one was of Kawa getting into his DMs for his representation.
Kawa texted Adesanya back in 2016, “Whats up brotha, I rep guys like bones condit Pettis etc…Would love to talk to you when you get a chance.”
In 2018, once Adesanya had entered the UFC, Kawa texted him once more. He wrote, “What’s good brotha…FYI I represent bones, Woodley and dj, as well as a bunch of other top fighters…you got ‘IT’. Do you have a manager? If not I’d like to discuss the future with you…”
The UFC middleweight champion wrote, “A quick post and delete. Glad I left him on seen. Don’t be a clout trout.”
