Chris Curtis, the incredible UFC fighter, recently took out an opponent. The rival was an internet troll. As public figures and athletes grow popular in worldly eyes, they start receiving hate. Hate is not a new issue for famous figures, but a part of their regular lives. The era of the internet gave way to a new breed of haters, called internet trolls. Recently a man took this trolling to another level and ended up calling out Chris Curtis for a fight. The shocking thing was that Curtis ended up in a fight with the man. Evidently, the so-called ‘street legend’ did not stand a chance against a trained middleweight MMA fighter.

Masvidal’s concern is understandable. The 38-year-old American MMA fighter most likely considers this an issue because of the legitimacy of the fighters. If pro-athlete fighters keep fighting trolls from the internet based on their hate comments, there will be no going back from the same. Although some of the fans are appreciating Chris Curtis for holding back his attacks, Masvidal’s disappointment can’t be disregarded.

What got Masvidal concerned?
In the video, Curtis was clearly dominating the ‘street legend’. Due to his inexperience and lack of training, the troll did not stand a chance against Curtis. However, after the fight, he mentions how he would still knock out Curtis. This callout infuriated the UFC fighter.

This sort of anger for non-competitor did not suit well with Jorge Masvidal. ‘Gamebred’ couldn’t relate to the issue. Moreover, the opinion of a random, non-experienced fighter did not matter.
