Gilbert Burns recently appeared in an interview with Submission Radio. The UFC welterweight was asked a series of questions pertaining to his Sanford MMA teammate Michael Chandler. The intriguing conversation that ‘Durinho’ had in the interview was his prediction of the fight between the two lightweights.

Burns answered, “I think it’s a tough fight for Michael.” The UFC welterweight showed great support for his teammate. He continued, “I don’t think it’s an easy fight, but I hope not Michael knock him out very bad. I never hope that to no one, you know. But I hope Michael gets a good win, you know. I don’t wanna wish nothing bad for Conor…”

The Brazilian fighter had some very kind words for ‘The Mystic Mac’. Moreover, Burns continued further, “The guy is a two-time champion. Helped to change the sport. Didn’t make the right choice sometimes, but it is what it is. I just hope Michael wins and I’m gonna do everything in my power to help Michael to get prepared. I hope Michael gets to finish, you know.”
