Nate Diaz is one of the biggest stars in MMA currently. His intense rivalry with Conor McGregor skyrocketed both of their stock in the world of sports while also alleviating the sport of MMA itself. He is set to return to the Octagon this Saturday at UFC 263 to fight promising welterweight Leon Edwards.

The American superstar has a record of 20-12 while his opponent Edwards fares slightly better with a record of 18-3-1. The 6ft tall Diaz competes at 170 pounds and has a reach of 76 inches. All of his fame translates pretty well into capital as he has a net worth of 11 million dollars, according to mediarefree.com.

He has won several high-profile fights in his career, but he does have a penchant for coming up short at times. Other than winning the WEC lightweight championship, and the Ultimate Fighter tournament, he has not won any major titles.

Nevertheless, Diaz does have eight “fight-of-the-night” bonuses. Amazingly, he also has five submissions of the night bonuses and one knockout of the night bonus. His high-profile image is coupled with his toughness and resilience, making this fight against Leon Edwards a must-watch.

Masvidal had the edge with his standup game and was winning the fight in the first three rounds. However, it all went wrong from there as a doctor stepped in to call off the fight. Masvidal was beginning to slow down, and Diaz was looking good, albeit with one cut above his eye.

Both Diaz and Masvidal disagreed with the doctor’s decision and called for a rematch which is yet to materialize. However, whenever it happens, it’ll be one of the biggest fights in the UFC.
