“I think I’m going to go 3-0 in the UFC and become the biggest box office name. You’ve got besides Conor McGregor. Besides him, I am gonna be the biggest box office name. Because he is the name. If I fought him. It’d be the most box offices sold ever. Because people want to see him get beat and people want to see him win and people want to see me get beat and people want to see me win,” Pimblett replied to Okamoto.
When ESPN journalist Brett Okamoto asked him how Pimblett aims to achieve all this in one year. The Liverpudlian only had one thing to say.“Because I am the baddy… Everyone loves the baddy.”
Pimblett is currently walking off a first-round knockout victory over Luigi Vendramini in his UFC debut last year. The Brit is not half wrong about himself as he has amassed himself a hefty MMA resume of 17 wins and 3 losses at just 27 years of age.
Paddy Pimblett on Dustin Poirier
In a conversation with another British MMA legend, Michael Bisping. Pimblett gave his brutally honest opinion on the Dustin Poirier vs. Charles Oliveira scrap.
The Brit told ‘The Count’ that he initially put his cards on Dustin Poirier, however, after watching the results, he did a 360-degree turn.

“I went with Poirier over Oliveira. And lad, after watching that fight as well, I’m watching that thinking, ‘Lad, if Oliveira can do that to you, Dustin, I can,'” Pimblett told Bisping.
Dustin Poirier met the current undisputed lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira, in the headliner of UFC 269. Although ‘The Diamond’ went inside the octagon as a heavy favorite, it was actually ‘Do Bronx’ who got the better of the former interim lightweight champion.
