UFC star Nate Diaz finally pulled down the curtain on his UFC days after putting his body on the line for over 16 years in the promotion. While the ‘Stockton Slapper’ bowed out with a memorable win against the late replacement Tony Ferguson at UFC 279, the question of his next destination looms large. Significantly, the rumors of the younger of the savage Diaz brothers squaring off against Canelo Alvarez have gained reactions. Moreover, he himself recently publically declared his intentions to fight the Mexican star this year. Despite the switch to other combat sports being all but assured, Diaz is still hung onto his former UFC rivals, namely Khamzat Chimaev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and Dustin Poirier for not accepting fights against him.

The outspoken 37-year-old notably took to Twitter to poke fun at his former UFC adversaries. Sticking to his brash and unfiltered reputation, not only did he claim victories against them, but also called them ‘scared p*ssys’.

Nate Diaz takes a jibe at his former UFC adversaries

The 22-13 record holder ended his long controversial stint with UFC as he intended to exchange gloves with UFC star on the rise, Khamzat Chimaev. However, his farewell match got embroiled in controversy as Swede couldn’t clock the required 170 lbs. Afterward, he faced another giant of sports in a more favorable style matchup.

However, the Stockton native was unlucky, as he could face neither ‘The Eagle’ nor ‘Diamond’. But, according to him, the fault lies with his opponents.

Thus, Diaz wrote, “I’m 3-0 in the UFC against C*mshot,Kabib, and Dustin porier do to them being scared p*ssys. Sleep with that”

Since the Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu team representative attained the free agent tag, he has kept his options open. Markedly, Diaz never shelved a return to UFC after cementing his legacy in a different combat sport.

However, since the Russian fighter hung his MMA gloves, the chances of the ‘Skrap Group’ member fighting him are null. But, it might be interesting to witness a matchup with either ‘Diamond’ or ‘Borz’ when and if that materializes.
