Conor McGregor has been itching to get back into the octagon for some time now. The former UFC double champion has recovered from his horrific leg break at UFC 264. His road to return started with the announcement of season 31 of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ where he coached opposite his potential future opponent, Michael Chandler.

However, weeks removed from TUF filming, McGregor does not yet have a date for his return. His recent spat with USADA is also not helping his case. Both McGregor and his fans grow weary with each passing day without an update about McGregor vs. Chandler.

Now, ‘Mystic Mac’ has dropped another cryptic tweet, which could be a hint that things are happening behind the scenes and we may soon get a date for the bout.

Conor McGregor and his Twitter activities rarely fail in making it to the news. The Irishman has a notable online presence where he beefs with other fighters, makes outlandish claims, or promotes himself and his products. His most recent tweets said that he was working on a new lager to join the ranks of his alcohol business. In another set of tweets, he showed the pool from where he was currently residing and wished his followers a happy Easter Sunday.

In addition, he dropped a ‘Mystic Mac’ style tweet that read “Stay Ready for the date.” Many felt the fighter was hinting at a return date.

McGregor renews old rivalry with a cryptic tweet

The UFC 287 main event was the stage for the second UFC meeting between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira. In a stunning display of elite-level striking, Adesanya finally conquered his demons when he knocked out Pereira. This fight was also a quadrilogy as this was the fourth combat fight between the pair.
