“That thing he did to Conor was so nasty too because he wasn’t even under the chin,” said Rogan. “It’s not a move that I’ve ever used, it’s like in that position I’ve always gone to like, there’s a move where you pull the neck this way and you pull the body that way. Like you do whats called a gable grip on the neck, you’re pulling the neck this way, and with your lower legs, you’re pulling the body another way. And you’ve got a guy like really f****n twisted up and yanked and it’s very very painful.”
The fourth round saw Nurmagomedov comfortably take McGregor down against the fence and quickly work his way into the side mount. A worn-out McGregor then proceeded to give his back up. And though Conor did somehow manage to keep his chin tucked in to avoid a choke, Khabib was more than happy to get in an excruciating neck crank to force the tap.

While Khabib has been enjoying his retirement, coaching up-and-coming teammates, Conor has repeatedly dismissed the former Lightweight Champ for being ‘too scared’ to take the rematch.
Furthermore, in his last outing against Dustin Poirier, McGregor snapped his leg at the end of the first round. An injury that will probably keep him out of action for at least a year. With Khabib supposedly retired and Conor McGregor on a downward spiral, the chances of a rematch between the two seem slim.
