UFC stars Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz have had one of the most memorable rivalries in the promotion’s history. They had two blockbuster fights with both fighters sharing a win each. They have been engaged in numerous heated confrontations and even made hilarious jokes about each other. A Twitter spat from earlier this year between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor has resurfaced on the internet.

Hollywood actor and 30 Seconds to Mars vocalist Jared Leto commented he would love to play McGregor in a movie. The Irishman replied by inviting Leto to practice the part. Seeing Jared Leto’s comment, Nate Diaz took the opportunity to talk about how his movie will work out. He said, Wolverine could play my part so we can see him beat Jared Letos A*s that be fun right @TheNotoriousMMA.”

McGregor came back with a hilarious tweet saying, “The kid that played Heisenberg’s son in breaking bad is who will play you. Virtually identical.” It was deleted later. There is a lot of buzz around the possibility of another match between the two UFC stars.

Following the ‘kid that played Heisenberg’ comment, Nate Diaz shot back by calling him ‘Warwick Davis’, which was a jibe at McGregor’s height. ‘Mystic Mac’ proceeded to post a fan-made poster of his movie with Jared Leto in it, and captioned it: “I am the executive producer.” Many fans have found the Twitter exchange hilarious. They lauded McGregor’s hilarious comment. Fans also took their fair share of shots against Nate Diaz.

When UFC President Dana White was asked a few months ago about the possibility of a trilogy fight, he talked about McGregor’s leg, which wasn’t fully healed at the time. He also mentioned that Diaz could wait for that match. Diaz, himself, has said that he would love to fight Conor McGregor.

As of now, Conor McGregor’s return hasn’t been confirmed yet. He showed tremendous body transformation by gaining a considerable amount of muscle. Meanwhile, the Stockton-native recently scored a win against Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 and completed his contract with the promotion.
