In the UFC matches, sometimes it happens that the bout gets so close that it goes to a decision. There will always be a section of fans who get totally upset when the decision goes in favor of a particular fighter. Rarely does the decision end up with the majority hating it. One such match that ended in a unanimous decision where the majority was against the judges took place at UFC 282. In UFC 282, Paddy Pimblett and Jared Gordon came face-to-face.

The fight was so close, and both fighters made sure that they gave their opponent a tough time. Nonetheless, by the end of the third round, ‘Baddy’ was announced as the winner via unanimous decision. This paved the way for severe backlash against Paddy from fellow fighters and fans. Pimblett was quite sure that he won the fight; however, the criticism from UFC pros like Nate Diaz and Joe Rogan bothered him.

Paddy Pimblett was badly hurt by Rogan and Diaz’s words
In an interview with MMA Junkie, Pimblett said, “I don’t care what most armchairs say to be honest, you know what I mean? That doesn’t bother me. When pros like Nate Diaz and that say that you’re not winning, Joe Rogan says that you don’t win, that’s when you think, ‘F*cking hell.’ But people sitting on their armchair and comment on my YouTube and my Instagram, I don’t care about it. It’s actual pros who thought I lost.”
