The former Bellator and Strikeforce appeared on the popular podcast- ‘Believe You Me’ and talked about the UFC 282’s card shuffles and his upcoming fight. Notably, the fighter, who is a constant presence on Michael Bisping’s podcast, also discussed the recent verbal exchange involving him and ‘Mystic Mac’.
What did Anthony Smith say about the Conor McGregor-Artem Lobov lawsuit?
The #5 ranked lightweight fighter started the conversation as he pointed out he had heard the story of Proper No.12 Whiskey before. Following this, Smith mentioned that Lobov had done interviews regarding it and even ‘Notorious’ suggested it. However, he expressed his doubt about the latter part and claimed he wasn’t 100% sure.

Afterward, the 34-year-fighter stated he had heard both the now-broken friends tell the same story. Further, he asserted Lobov came up with the idea of Irish whiskey.
Indulging into the details, Smith said that Lobov never asked his former training partner for anything. In addition, McGregor tried to pay for Lobov’s training camps, but the Russian fighter never took a dollar from him.
Later on, ‘Lionheart’ told. “And then now it’s now he wants lots of dollars. So I, I don’t know. I’m not really picking a side. But it is too bad that they go from such good friends to lawsuits.”
This prompted ‘The Count’ to declare that money was the root of all evil.
However, the Factory X product expressed, “That seems, uh, that seems dangerous for Conor though.” This statement intrigued the Brit and in response, Smith cleverly put, “Who knows every deep dark secret you have, Michael Bisping?”
