The internet does not agree with Joe Rogan

“Why are so many people leaving California?”, wrote Shields in the caption. Replying to this, many of his followers commented on the post and gave different reasons for leaving California. However, most comments did not give the same reason as Joe Rogan for leaving California.
Here are some of the reactions:
Taxes

People had different problems with California.
High gasoline cost, high home energy costs (e.g. electricity and natural gas), high grocery prices, etc. Everything has doubled or tripled in cost. Taxes are going to go up too. Salaries haven't increased enough to cover all of the costs.

Because Taxes are high! Home prices are outrageous, homeless issues in LA, San Fran, and other parts of CA. Vax mandates & healthcare is another real issues for parents. I wouldn’t live there because of that sole reason.

Some problems were political, while others were financial.
Because the taxes are so high and yet the streets aren’t safe.

But all of them had the problem of the high tax rate in common.
Taxes are too high. Crime rates are getting higher. Government doesn’t seem to care about running the state for the benefit of the people living in the state.

I was one of them. MY reasons were:
Left politics and gun laws
Taxes and other inflated costs of living
Home equity went sky high (lotto ticket)
Over saturated market in business was in causing margins to become less and less over the years
Bang for dollar else where

Some even talked about the lack of safety in California.
Democrats turned it into a third world country with rampant crime, homelessness, illegal aliens and drug use, while also having the highest taxes in the entire country and making it impossible to run businesses with the heaviest regulations around. It's no wonder they're leaving.

It seems like the general public of California and other parts of the USA is not at peace with the tax rates in California.

California is known for its high taxes, which can be a burden for many people. The state has one of the highest income tax rates in the country, and property taxes are also high. Paying taxes at a very high rate might not be a problem with someone as successful as Rogan. However, it is evident that other residents of California are facing this problem.
