Four days after UFC 282, Dana White is still getting jibes for Paddy Pimblett‘s controversial win. The unanimous 30-27 scorecard in favor of the Scouser raised one too many eyebrows. Fans and pros openly disagreed with the decision. While some argued Jared Gordon won, some others gave a split decision 29-28 to either fighter. White slamming Gordon’s game plan for the final round in the post-fight presser only added fuel to the fire. Now, the UFC President is responding to criticisms of favoring Pimblett with clap-backs of his own.

Dana White and Paddy Pimblett trashed Ariel Helwani during the lead-up to UFC 282. This affected both their public images, as it seemed uncalled for. Several fans also accused Pimblett of doing it to gain favor with the boss, and the UFC 282 win only made matters worse.

However, criticisms of last Saturday’s event followed the 53-year-old to the comment section of a completely unrelated announcement.

One fan commented under the post, “And the winner of all 12 days is: Patrick Pimblett”. White responded with a simple “LOL.”
Another fan wrote, “Paddy got the best Christmas present this year. Free win from the judges and dana.” The UFC boss replied, “USADA is lookin for you.” The fan’s profile showed he was into fitness and White took a dig at that.
In a cheeky response, another fan wrote, “My plus 1 will be Ariel helwani”. White sarcastically replied, “that should be A LOT of fun.”
Recently, a similar incident unfolded under another Dana White post on Instagram.

Recently, Dana White shared health updates on his Instagram. However, there were fans complaining about the Pimblett win under that post too. White responded to one of them, albeit in poor taste.

“Nobody cares Dana. We care about that robbery of a fight that happen last night,” wrote a fan. White responded by saying, “call the commission if you are that concerned with it.”
Another fight fan responded to the UFC head honcho, saying “you should also be concerned about that.”
Given the circumstances, White’s aggressive responses only seem to fan the flames. Several fighters and pros are already discussing the drawbacks of judging in MMA following the events of UFC 282. White’s comments, however, do not help anyone in this case.
