Dana White has always been a hot topic in the media, with almost every move he makes coming under scrutiny. Whether it’s for his professional decisions or personal affairs, White never seems to be too far from the headlines. Despite the fact that he and the media may see different sides of the spectrum, the 53-year-old must face the media more than anyone, given his position in the UFC. However, being exposed to the media constantly has its drawbacks, both personally and professionally.
Recently, in an interview, White revealed that he has a documentary in the works, which he is eager to release to the world. This documentary seems to be White’s one response to the media, as he plans to go all out after them for everything he feels they need to be held accountable for. It certainly appears that the UFC president’s tank is full of all that has been written about him and his ventures, and now he’s looking to get back at them for it all.

The 53-year-old made an allusion to it when discussing the criticism the UFC faced in its formative days. And responding to everything that is being written about Power Slap, the UFC president told Robbie Fox, “I’m working on even a bigger piece about the media.”
White further added, “Wait till you see this bad boy… Faces, publications, names, what they said, the whole deal. It’s gonna live forever. And I’ll do the same thing with Power Slap once we get where we’re going.”

Media knows nothing, claims White

The UFC president has faced intense scrutiny for his involvement in the slap-driven league, with many media outlets writing negative articles about the sport. The UFC president further added, “And, we all knew nothing, going into Slap[Power Slap], you know. It was something, you know, it’s gonna be an evolution here as we continue to grow and you learn by trial and error. And that’s what we’ve been doing this season.”

It seems that nothing can shake White’s vision for Power Slap, as he perhaps sees something with this slap-driven league that nobody else does as of yet. Only time will tell if his vision will come to fruition. But for now, he remains focused on turning Power Slap into a success story, despite its fluctuating trajectory.
