The phrase in this video came in from an original interview given by Yoel Romero to The MacLife, a day prior to his UFC 248 fight against middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya.
The MacLife framed this sentence in a way relating to Yoel Romero’s biggest mistake in life was inking a deal with the UFC and which is predominantly why the 43-year-old has left the promotion in a flash.
In this original footage, the reporter asks Romero what was the biggest mistake he made in his life and what did he learn from it. Romero responds with his eccentric one-liner.

Both of them were fairly criticized for not putting on an exciting battle for the fans as they distanced themselves from each other throughout the bout. In retrospect, this was his final UFC fight.
