The noted former UFC fighter Kevin Lee quit the UFC to become a food vlogger. Lee holds a 19-7 record in his entire MMA career. He had his last UFC bout at UFC Fight Night 170 against the coveted former Lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira. But, he came up on the losing side, getting submitted by ‘do Bronx’ in the third round of the bout. The UFC confirmed Lee’s release on 30 November 2021.

But, ‘The Motown Phenom’ peaked his popularity after his departure from the UFC. He made his way into the world of broadcasting with TikTok. After a few initial videos, one of his food vlogs about ‘303 Food Truck’ made him viral. Since then he has amassed an insane 7M followers on TikTok. But, as of now, the ’30-year-old’ hailing from Detroit might be eyeing a return to the UFC.

Lately, ‘The Motown Phenom’ posted a snap of himself with the UFC supremo, Dana White, which started speculations from the fans. Lee also captioned his post, “I’m grateful for every moment in my life. Allhamdulillah. Hard work always pays off”. Lee’s post also included a short video of his famous “Yeah” iteration.

This post from Lee garnered massive responses from his followers. Many thought that he would be making his UFC return, but a few had some other questions.

They probably knew about Lee’s signing with Khabib Nurmagomedov’s own MMA promotion, Eagle FC. Hence, they were unclear of the fact about what would happen to that deal if Lee joins the UFC again.

One of his followers questioned, “What happened to eagle Fc ?”. Another user also asked a similar question which reverberated the same thoughts. He wrote, “What happen to eagle mma?”

It’s pertinent to note that Khabib Nurmagomedov had declared his retirement from the world of MMA entirely. This also included the involvement of his own promotion, ‘Eagle FC’. All of this might have been the reason which compelled the ‘Detroit native’ to make his UFC return.
