Conor McGregor is all set to compete at the UFC 264 main event against Dustin Poirier. This fight will be the third between the two, with both fighters winning one fight each. Therefore, both fighters would look to get a victory and end the trilogy on top.
Recently the official weigh-ins for the UFC 264 event took place. Both McGregor and ‘The Diamond’ successfully made the weight at 156lbs. However, there was still one thing about the weigh-ins that caught the attention of everyone present there.
That thing was Conor McGregor’s attire, as ‘Notorious’ was not wearing the official UFC kit. The UFC expects fighters to wear the Venum UFC Fight Kit to official events. However, McGregor seemed to have missed the memo as he came into the weigh-ins wearing his own shorts and a Black Forge t-shirt.

Black Forge is the pub that ‘Notorious’ had purchased last year. Therefore, it seemed like McGregor wanted to promote his pub at the UFC 264 weigh-ins. However, Dana White seemed visibly upset about McGregor not wearing the official kit.
As soon as McGregor entered the stage, White had a few words with McGregor that seemed to irritate him. This event is the biggest UFC event of the year and therefore White was expecting his most popular fighter to wear the official kit and promote their new partner, Crypto.com.

Going into the fight, ‘The Diamond’ will be the more confident of the two as Poirier won the last fight between them at UFC 257. McGregor on the other hand would look to learn from that fight and focus more on conventional MMA styles rather than boxing.
