Conor McGregor and his social media antics have given fans cause for concern on more than one occasion. UFC’s biggest PPV star to date has a penchant for grabbing attention with his outlandish social media shenanigans. McGregor’s tweet-and-delete games have also come under severe scrutiny several times. ‘Mystic Mac’ is not shy about flaunting his wealth and his lifestyle. However, his fans do not often share the same excitement. With a recent social media post, the former double champion seems to have lost favor with some of his fans.
The 34-year-old recently shared a picture of him having a good time with his fiance. However, not all of his fans shared the same sentiment.

Conor McGregor upsets fans with his latest picture
In a recent Instagram post, McGregor shared a picture of himself with his fiance and the mother of his three kids, Dee Devlin. ‘The Notorious’ was also holding a smoking blunt while Devlin appears to have clicked the picture. The pair seemed to be enjoying themselves in the backseat of their car.

However, some fans did not agree with a high-level athlete like McGregor resorting to this lifestyle. They made their frustration known in the comments under the post.
In the caption to the post, McGregor wrote, “Who’s drivin , Not us”
One fan responded, “Yeah you’re right, you ain’t driving. Driving for nothing cause you got no drive any more ya big wash out. Would be alright if you didn’t talk so much shite.”
Another said, “bro stop smoking, get back in the octagon smh”

YouTuber Bob Menery made an observation saying, “You look Like you’re the joker”
One fan warned McGregor and wrote, “You cant half be a fighter and half mess around. Nobody at a top level in anything succeeds like this.”
Another commented, “Dudes not stoned, just been crying thinking about those 2 Dustin loses.”
One disappointed fan wrote, “Not a good inspiration bro.”
Similarly, another wrote, “Had no one behind the wheel for a while now son.”
This is not the first time the Irish superstar has posted something on social media where he looked severely intoxicated. A post of his from early 2022 caused similar outrage among fans.
Throwback to McGregor’s controversial ice cream clip
In February 2022, Conor McGregor shared a clip of him eating ice cream on his social media. The former ‘champ champ’ was laughing hysterically as he munched on his snack, leaving fans to speculate that he was intoxicated. This event went down while McGregor was still in recovery from the horrific leg break he suffered at UFC 264.

Despite vowing to stay off his beloved Proper 12 and other indulgences, McGregor raised his fans’ ire with this shenanigan. Many of them expressed their disapproval and disappointment. Some even wrote him off, saying he would never be a UFC champion again.
Nevertheless, McGregor seems to have completed his recovery and is gearing up for a return to action in 2023. Although there is no set date, talks are heating up, and the hype is high for the return of the McGregor show.
