Dana White might rescind his decision over Brendan Loughnane

UFC president Dana White stated he did not feel any regret over not signing Brendan Loughnane a new contract at The UFC. White responded “No, not at all” when confronted by a reporter who questioned White’s decision on releasing Loughnane.

Loughnane recently won the featherweight championship and a sum of $1m, when he defeated Bubba Jenkins at the Professional Fighters League World Championship in New York. On this occasion, an old video of The UFC president surfaced, around the time when he released Loughnane from a UFC contract.

White stated “I mean think that everybody knows what I’m looking for here” “While I said that kid is talented and… you know he’s gonna…” “And I also said if I’m wrong, he’s a free agent and anybody can pick him up so…”

Dana White acted as if he threw him out for other promotional organizations and said, “If anybody thinks I’m wrong, show me!”

“There you go. Here’s a free one for you… lock ‘em up and he’s all yours”

White was confident of his judgment about Brendan Loughnane. Meanwhile, the fighter achieved success at age 32 and became the first British champion in the history of the PFL.

The UFC world had mixed opinions on this matter and took sides between Dana White and Brendan Loughnane. However, some disagreed that a PFL championship never equated to a UFC championship, and claimed they were on different levels.

Many fans rejoiced in the PFL fighters’ victory, especially because it possibly made White angry.

The MMA world is of the opinion that Dana White has a personal grudge against Loughnane.

The PFL championship offered a handsome reward for the winner of the title.

These fans were quick to criticize The UFC president’s old decision after Brendan Loughnane won the PFL featherweight title.
