Dwayne Johnson has taken himself back into the ring and it’s getting increasingly violent. The question is, will his return have the same importance as the potential return of UFC star Conor McGregor? It’s an interesting comparison brought up by an interesting person.

What’s really going on with ‘The Rock’? He recently returned to the WWE and now has a full-blown conflict with Cody Rhodes. In fact, after the last edition of RAW, Johnson promised Rhodes that he’d continue to beat him down even after the broadcast. Here’s what happened.

Conor McGregor is perhaps the biggest UFC star when it comes to selling the product. The same could be said about Dwayne Johnson and the WWE but Chael Sonnen may not agree with it all. In a recent turn of events, a clip of Johnson shouting and swearing went viral.

This was a clip taken after the last RAW episode aired and Johnson was seen doing exactly what he promised he would. He was beating down Cody Rhodes who was crawling away from him with blood dripping from his head. Even Ariel Helwani was awed by the clip. ‘Uncle Chael’ clearly had thoughts about the clip as he mentioned it all in his latest video.

UFC CEO Dana White is yet again not too vocal about Conor McGregor’s return. He did confirm recently that there’s no problem for McGregor to make his return but is it even possible? Sonnen himself put out a video casting doubt over the whole ordeal.

He noted how McGregor said that an agent contacted him regarding a return and concluded that this isn’t the way the UFC usually communicates with the fighters. So what exactly is going on behind the scenes with the UFC? Conor McGregor’s opponent too seems convinced.
