According to an article by Los Angeles Times, the NHL heartthrob’s million-dollar property had been flickering in the market for a reasonable period after it was finally stamped sold. Reportedly, Gretzky had purchased the property at around $3 million.

However, he set up the 8,711-square-foot abode for sale at a mighty $10.5 million worth. Shedding light on the interior aesthetics, it included a designer kitchen area, furnished floors, elegant chandeliers and a library. Moreover, fireplaces accompanied the majority of the rooms.

As per a 2022 report by Fancy Homes, the 61-year-old athlete once again auctioned off his 13,000 square feet residence in Thousand Oaks. The overtly luxurious property housed 6 bedrooms, a fancy lake, and was a great private space.

Gretzky and wife, Janet had previously built the home as per their desires but ended up selling it after they moved to Arizona for professional priorities. Later, giving in to their affection for the architecture, they re-gained its ownership.
