In a strange incident, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver, Antonio Brown, left the field abruptly during the game. Moreover, the staff members and players pleaded with him to stay. However, Brown left the field as he threw his shirt into the crowd. Fans remained stunned, as questions about athletes’ mental health were raised again.

Now, track and field legend, Michael Johnson took to Twitter, coming to Antonio’s aid. Notably, the shocking incident has marred the Buccaneers’ victory over the New York Jets.

Michael Johnson wants help offered to Antonio Brown
As the game progressed, Brown left the field, removing his jersey, shirt, and gloves, and throwing them into the crowd. While most of the staff members looked shocked, questions about his mental health began making the headlines. Now, in a heartfelt tweet, Johnson wishes Antonio gets the help he needs.
“I hope someone close to him is able to get through to him and get him the help he so desperately needs,” said Johnson.

This incident goes back to Simone Biles’ withdrawal from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after suffering from mental health issues. Gone are those days when everyone considered it to be taboo, as they now encourage others to get the help needed.
