Work is worship for Arnold Schwarzenegger, who makes sure to stay busy even at the age of 75. The former bodybuilder has a penchant for staying fit and promoting health and wellness at an age when people might just want to retire and relax. So, when he willingly missed out on his latest birthday celebration, fans knew something was cooking.
In a recent announcement in his daily newsletter Pump Daily, Schwarzenegger gave an exclusive sneak peek of his latest project. The Terminator was back on the big screen, and in order to complete the project, the legend went through an insane schedule, even on his birthday! While others would love to have a slow and relaxing birthday, especially during their retirement years, the Austrian Oak had other plans. Arnie was working on his new show – something he felt appropriate and exciting enough to return to. And in the process, he even skipped celebrating his 75th birthday due to the exhausting schedule his new show – FUBAR – brought in.

In his newsletter, Schwarzenegger revealed what his day looked like during a regular shoot. His shifts would range from anywhere between 12-14 hours. It meant that the actor would either walk in early in the morning at around 6 AM and leave at 7-8 PM or start at around 6 PM and leave during the wee hours of dawn. This entire ordeal went on for about four months!
It was during this time that the actor turned 75. With such a busy schedule that hardly allowed time to stop and take a break, friends, and family were concerned for the actor’s well-being. Yet, Schwarzenegger proved how work gave him the happiness he desired. He described the joy of being able to stay busy and occupied at his age in his newsletter.
