Sage Kimzey and wife’s divided roles
In a recent Instagram update by Teton Ridge, the bull riding champion and Alexis were seen attending an interview. For the first question, the couple was asked which bull rider they would trust to babysit their son. While Alexis chose Creek Young, Kimzey’s answer included Tyler Bingham. The Cowboy reasoned his answer saying, “Strictly because they had their son right before us,”. But for Alexis, Tyler’s wife, Jerica would make a rather better choice.
Amongst the further questions including clothes size and diaper change frequency, the duo was also quizzed on the subtle roles each held. While Kimzey took on the task of getting Steele dressed, Alexis was on consoling their upset toddler who runs to her first. Proceeding further, the interview bent largely towards Alexis and her parenting warmth with a final question.
“Middle of the night, Steele wakes up, who is going in first?” the question read and both obvious answers pointed towards Alexis. When the bull riding icon was asked if he offered to step ahead, Kimzey had a candid reply. “I’m not gonna lie, I usally sleep right through it. I am like that typical dad,” he added with a chuckle. But for Alexis, the author revealed to have never slept without Steele by her side.

When Alexis was in labor, the journalist had to go through various medical procedures. Swelling, poking, and weight gain put Alexis in a difficult situation. However, while the medical team fought to get her through, Sage Kimzey ensured to hold his post with no less effort.

“When Steele was born, I was in too rough of shape to go down and feed him in NICU. Sage never missed a feeding and would FaceTime me so I didn’t feel left out. When he had surgery he learned to feed Steele with his other hand. He never misses a swim lesson if he is here, he wants to be present for everything. Nothing makes him happier than being a dad and he is the definition of a hands-on, patient, wonderstruck father” Alexis wrote in a gratitude note. She further added that Steele had got the best dad, ensuring to put them first.

Expressing her admiration for Kimzey, Bloomer conceded, “The best thing about Sage is he doesn’t try to be cool (even though he is), he’s not afraid to ask how to do something or learn how to be a better father.”
