G.O.A.T. Simone Biles’s astounding gymnastics career is not simply the result of her grand achievements. Her strong grip over her fanbase is exceptional. In the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, Biles withdrew from the competitions to prioritize her mental health. Moreover, she was facing what the gymnasts call, ‘the twisties’, where an athlete can’t reckon their dimensions mid-air. Hence, while she was returning home, her fans had something special planned to cheer her up.

As per a previous Twitter post, a pizza chain restaurant, Imo’s, once sent a couple of pies all the way to Houston, Texas, from Missouri. This delivery came after the Olympian’s prior tweet based on her love for the chain.

As per a tweet in June 2021, the 4-time gold medalist revealed her fondness for the Missouri-based pizza chain, Imo’s. “back in houston and already missing imo’s,” the gymnast once wrote. Biles was introduced to the local restaurant while attending the Olympic trials in St.Louis. Thus, after her health concerns at the Olympics, Imo’s seized the opportunity to show their appreciation for her by serving her favorite pizzas. The best part? It had arrived from 776.8 miles away, from Missouri.

Additionally, this particular arrangement was arranged by the 25-year-old athlete’s numerous fans. However, the St.Louis restaurant was already ahead in its scheme to cheer the champion up. In a subsequent tweet, the chain stated that they had successfully delivered a care package for the star at her Houston abode. While her favorite pizza chain added in another tweet, “To everyone saying we should send @Simone_Biles pizzas, we did shortly after she left for Tokyo. We sent them to her and @jjowens_3, and they’ll be waiting for her when she lands in Houston. :-)”

Her boyfriend and NFL icon, Jonathan Owens received the delightful surprise, as Biles was on the way home. On a similar note, even her wedding plans have a spot saved for her love for pizzas.

The 4’8” gymnast relishes the Italian snack. So much so that, she even acknowledged her priority pizza chain’s offer to cater on her wedding day. Imo’s once again added value by extending their services to the athlete. Now you know what will be on the menu. 

Furthermore, elated by the opportunity and admiration of the power couple, Imo’s re-shared Biles’s engagement post. The caption read, “We’d be honored to send Imo’s for the reception. Congratulations!“
