The young artist from Sacramento, Sarah Miska, was raised in the beautiful city of Folsom, California. She studied art and design at Laguna College of Art and Design and did a master’s from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Before getting into the zest of sculptures, Miska used to make nude paintings for four years. Now, after getting involved with making sculptures, she says sculptures give her an idea of formations for her painting. 

Sarah’s sculpture art specialty consists of her lines, and she thinks the lines give the formation of the sculpture. The essence of her painting stays within the control of each element of the image in her mind. According to Sarah, controlling every bit of the image is what creates the art. This coming weekend, Sarah has an art show at the Los Angeles Night Gallery, where she will be having an exhibition of equestrian charm and sensuality. 

Equestrian with a glance of moderate sensuality 

As Miska stated, controlling every element of the image gives her the perfect art. She spent many nights examining and scrutinizing the equestrian photos to finally control the brush. According to the Artnet news, “High Stakes” is the solo show where Miska will be putting her new painting series of horses and jockeys. The horses are the primary figure in the painting, and the jockeys are the secondary ones. She created them in a way to make the horse look dominant. She stated, “These images are also meant to be humorous since, if you’re considering a jockey’s point of view, they’re in the most awkward, submissive, hilarious pose when they’re riding.”

For an artist, the rigid moment is never the source of beauty, the beauty rather lies within the candid flux of the world. This wise phrase is also believed by Sarah Miska, and she glorified the flaws in her work. Sarah stated, “Quite frankly, equestrian sports can be boring because they’re so controlled, and these flawed, imperfect moments are beautiful.” Miska has always fascinated horses since her childhood, and she even wanted to own a horse.

Miska’s desire to own a horse turned into equestrian art enthusiasm

In her childhood, Sarah used to imagine a horse galloping beside her parents’ car. This imagination gave rise to her obsession with owning a horse. The expense of owning a horse kept her away from completely indulging herself in equestrian. She also took some riding lessons during her childhood. She had a pair of horses, but her parents had to sell the pair within a year due to financial affordability issues. However, not having horses in childhood led Sarah to create magnificent equine images.

Miska Sarah, the quine painter, is much known for putting details in her artwork. She has a way of giving her paintings her illustrations. Her new equine series ‘High Stakes’ is now a topic of discussion of all the art lovers across the world.
