No skateboarders in the street skating competition have had an incredible run like Nyjah Huston. From rags to riches, he hustled over the years and tasted some much deserving success, eventually. Raised in a Rastafarian household, his love for skateboarding never left him. As of today, no skateboarders have earned as much prize money as he has.

Putting his skills to best use, Huston has entertained fans all around the world. Notably, the 2006 X-Games saw him becoming the youngest competitor in the Games’ history.

Nyjah Huston is incredible

Despite a rough start to his career, Huston now has a net worth of $12 million, simply because of his passion and skill. Moreover, he earned a lot of prize money that amounts to $685,000 in two seasons of Street League. Thus, his total career earnings sum up to an estimated $800,000 per year from endorsements and other prize money.

As per reports, Nike is also collaborating with him to release his signature sneakers.

Back in 2013, Huston purchased his first home for $2.55 million, property in San Juan Capistrano. It was a 6000 sq ft residence as he invested in many other facilities throughout the years. After that, he sold the property for $3.22 million, while purchasing another space for $3.6 million in Laguna Beach.

An astonishing career

Apart from making millions, his career in skateboarding is right up there with the best. The streets won’t forget his performance as a youngster during the 2006 X-Games.

Having won six World Championship gold medals, as well as, five silver medals at the tournament, Huston is already the highest-paid skateboarder in the sport’s history. Moreover, he has won gold medals in the X-Games from 2011 to 2019, barring 2017, the only year he didn’t win a medal. That’s the dominance shown by the dazzling skateboarder.

Apart from all the competitions, he appeared on Tony Hawk’s video games and continues to be a regular feature. While Hawk is a legend in the vertical ramp, Nyjah is the champ at street skating. Some tricks he pulls off are phenomenal; while being a determined competitor throughout his career.
