Call of Duty is, without a doubt, one of the most popular and successful franchises in gaming ever. Of course, given its highly dedicated fan base, Activision has published a new title every year since 2005. The 2019 entry in the series, Call of Duty Modern Warfare now ranks as the most successful title in the time period since its release. These are some fantastic records set by Modern Warfare, especially looking at just how big a fan base CoD garners. Moreover, Activision’s earnings report also stated the “in-game net bookings more than doubled year-over-year versus Black Ops 4.??

Call of Duty Modern Warfare the worst?

Going over these numbers, one would think Modern Warfare is certain to be among the very best CoD games ever. You won’t be hard-pressed to find those in the community who believe so. Consider this, though; since we get a new title every year, there are a lot of variations in-game mechanics, competitive scenarios, public matches, etc. Naturally, we also get a variety of opinions with each title.?While the consensus for Call of Duty Modern Warfare is positive, Seth “Scump” Abner thinks otherwise.

While everyone is entitled to their opinion, Scump’s take on the subject is probably not a popular one. However, it’s safe to say Scump knows a thing or two about Call of Duty seeing as he is one of the best players in the game right now, and has been for a fair few years.
