Back in January, Lewis Hamilton went holidaying in the United States to relax from his 5th title win. The Briton was in California to visit a surf ranch and was taught by Kelly Slater. In a video posted on Facebook, Hamilton caught a few good waves and looked quite comfortable out there.

However, his good form only lasted for a short while as he wiped out soon after. However, he was praised by some of the members for his prowess with the surfboard.

Also, in his video, he spoke about his fondness for surfing and that it was one of his favourite sports. The British driver was clad in a wetsuit when he took on the waves. Later, he posted pictures on Instagram of himself tackling the waves in the open sea. Evidently, he felt confident enough to go out there for some real fun.

In another post, he was seen foil-surfing and was certainly having plenty of fun. On the very same day it seemed that Hamilton’s thrill-seeking bug still hadn’t left so he opted to go sky-diving.

He wrote, “Surfing and skydiving in the same day is the ultimate day for me.”
