To show her love for Baltimore, the Reese Foundation recently teamed up with Reebok to support the next generation of female athletes at Saint Frances Academy, her alma mater. According to reports, the Panthers basketball team will receive Angel Reese 1 sneakers, customized Reebok apparel, warm-up sets, and performance game jerseys, before their first game of the season on November 25, 2025, kicks off.

Rees is committed to encouraging young women athletes, she shared via The Blast.

“Empowering the next generation of young female athletes has always been my mission, and giving back to the community that raised me makes it even more special. Saint Frances was pivotal in my journey as an athlete, and through this partnership, I want to give young Panther athletes the resources, the confidence, and the inspiration to chase their dreams too,” Reese said.

This partnership comes with Reese’s first-ever signature sneaker, which was launched back in September 2025. But got sold out within hours after hitting the market. The shoes featured three distinct colorways and performance-driven technology like an Exoskeleton upper, TPU stability cup, and Reebok’s Energy Return System (ERS).

“To have the support from Angel and Reebok is an honor. Angel is a pillar of inspiration for these young girls, and I’m excited to see the team excel on and off the court through this partnership,” Nytearia Burrell, Saint Frances Academy’s Head Coach, said.

Angel Reese launched her foundation in 2023 to provide scholarships, basketball camps, and community programs for young athletes in cities like Baltimore, Chicago, and Baton Rouge, and she is doing exactly that by helping players who are in the same place where she was before. She also partnered with the Magic Johnson Foundation to spread financial literacy awareness called “The Wealth Playbook,” which aimed to help Black households in Baltimore close the wealth gap.

Reese also plans to host a special team practice sometime in the season ahead, where she will give her insights to the players of the Panthers. But while the chi-barbie continues to spread positivity, she is also making waves in her own journey.

Angel Reese eyes for the international stage

In the recent invitation to 18 players for the USA Basketball’s senior women’s national team training camp, Reese was also selected. The camp will take place from December 12–14, 2025, where the talents of these players will be evaluated, and a roster for upcoming competitions, including the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, will be prepared under head coach Kara Lawson.

Besides Reese, Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers, Chelsea Gray, Brittney Griner, Kelsey Plum, and Jackie Young, alongside Cameron Brink, Rickea Jackson, Sonia Citron, Kiki Iriafen, and Veronica Burton, will also join the camp. Even College basketball stars Lauren Betts and JuJu Watkins received invitations.

While Reese will definitely be a great addition to the team, with Clark also joining the camp, fans will be keeping their eye on both these players to see if they can function as teammates.
