The Connecticut Sun vs the Las Vegas Aces is a matchup between two teams in uncharted territory. With both making deep playoff runs consecutively, it’s strange seeing these two teams far away from the top. While the Aces have kick-started their campaign and are sitting at 6th in the league table, the Sun has been languishing at the bottom of the table for much of the 2025 WNBA season.

With the teams set to face each other, the Las Vegas Aces are the bettors’ favorite to come out with a win. However, as bad a season as the Connecticut Sun is having, they have shown the ability to spring a surprise and spoil the party of a contending team.

They can find solace in one statistical advantage over the Las Vegas Aces. With 7.9 steals per game, they are the league’s fifth-best team in this category. If they can block the passing lanes and run with the ball after turnovers, there could be a surprise on our hands. The Las Vegas Aces are riding high on momentum, having won 4 of their last 5 games. Moreover, they have a 3-0 series advantage over the Connecticut Sun.

Keeping all this in mind, they would be confident heading into the Las Vegas Aces vs Connecticut Sun matchup. Whether the Sun can do anything to curtail their momentum and get one over them remains to be seen.
