At such an opportune time, WTA talked to a few remarkable tennis players about Australia. However, one statement of the American tennis sensation, Danielle Collins, stood out.

Liudmila Samsonova, Ons Jabeur, Holger Rune, Aryna Sabalenka, and Felix Auger-Aliassime, among others, gathered together when they supposedly answered a similar question about Australia. Some liked the food, the zoo or the weather, and, of course, the Australian Open itself.

But what Collins had to say would certainly surprise many fans.

It seems that Guns’ n’ Roses is the star’s favorite band. During her short conversation with WTA, she had just one thing to say; to win the Wimbledon doubles with Axl Rose. Yes, the World No. 14 wants to try her hands at doubles, with none other than the lead vocalist of the band, Axl Rose. Here is what she said.

“I would love to win Wimbledon doubles with Axl Rose! How badass would that be? I mean, nobody else said that! I mean that would be so fun.. to call him up”.

A daring yet exciting dream. Not only playing, but winning it with Axl Rose. Certainly, nobody saw that one coming!

However, Danielle wasn’t the only one thinking of having fun. Guess what the Belarusian WTA player, Aryna Sabalenka, said the very first thing? Going to the beach. Yes, Sabalenka wants to explore the Australian beaches.

She further adds that she is excited to be back and loves being in Adelaide. Moreover, the 29-year-old is a foody, as she mentions that she loves all the great restaurants. And feels that she could play her best tennis here!

Well, the fans would surely wish to see her fight the best players on the tour for the Australian Open title. Winning the title might just give her enough impetus to approach Axl to team up with her during Wimbledon.
