Even after she retired from a glorious professional career, Tennis star Martina Navratilova has not completely left her beloved sport’s grip. The legend has always stepped forward to raise her voice to make a valuable difference. While social media has majorly been the medium of her voice, she recently marked a lack of faith in the famous platform.

Martina Navratilova raises her concern over X’s reliability

A recent series of events made tennis legend Martina Navratilova voice concerns over the impact of new algorithms on X, formerly known as Twitter. According to the tennis legend who actively stays involved with the platform, the negative impact hit after Elon Musk took charge. Along with criticizing the changes, her suggestion pointed towards an allegation of suppressing free speech.

Recently, American Data Scientist Rebekah Jones claimed that her tweets only reached about 4% of her followers on Twitter. Backing Jones on her statement, Navratilova wrote, “Yup. So much for free speech. Damn algorithms – they (Elon) can skew it any way they want.” The tennis legend’s comment not only added weight to the American data scientist’s concern but also presented a slam against Elon Musk.
