The 23-time Grand Slam champion was previously spotted donning a silver attire with cape, designed by a popular French fashion house. The luxurious brand, Balenciaga, was previously endorsed by the American rapper, Kanye West.

A plethora of fans were stunned to see Williams when she walked on the popular runway for Balenciaga. After playing her farewell tennis match, the former world No. 1 player has kept herself busy by engaging in various activities.

Serena Williams donned a silver jersey cape designed by Balenciaga

The 23-time Grand Slam champion modeled for Balenciaga while she stunned everyone at the Vogue World runway show back in September. The popular fashion event took place in New York as collections from various fashion giants, including Dior, Gucci, Valentino, Christopher John Rogers, and Collina Strada, were part of the event.

Meanwhile, when Serena Williams walked onto the stage, an old recording of her voice was playing in the background. It was recorded when Williams was featured in an old interview during the 2000 Wimbledon match. The recording stated, “I want people to remember me as the girl who changed tennis or just was able to bring something new to the game.”

Additionally, the whole crowd at the Vogue World runway show was delighted to see Williams in a glamorous silver jersey cape that was specially designed by Balenciaga. Later on, during the fashion event, the popular American rapper, Lil Nas X also surprised the audience with his performance. Prior to the event, the former US Open champion showcased some beautiful collections from her entrepreneurial project, S by Serena, at Spring Studios in New York.

Williams talked about her daughter’s fashion choices

The American tennis icon was featured in an interview with the Director of Harper’s Bazaar, Nikki Ogunnaike. Meanwhile, Williams talked about her relationship with her little daughter, Olympia Ohanian. The former world No. 1 tennis player revealed that she often takes opinions from her daughter when it comes to her fashion choices.

Williams went on to say that “I’ll put everything out and I’ll just be like, ‘Pick one!'” She further stated that her daughter randomly picks any of the dresses when she is asked to choose one. Williams further revealed that she is not sure if her daughter was serious when it comes to picking dresses, as she might be just pointing at one to play her games.
