In what was a surprising fact for the fans, Punk revealed that Bayley was one reason why he left Tony Khan’s promotion. How? It was because of her that he made a backstage visit to a WWE show way before his return to the company. And meeting his friends helped solidify his return. He said, “My friend Bayley messaged me and she’s like, ‘My friend Liv was on the flight with you. She says you were so nice to her.’ We have a show in Chicago. You should come visit.’ I’m throwing Bayley under the bus now. Yeah it’s all her fault. I laughed because I landed. Got on the train, went home. No wife, no dog. I don’t have anything to do. Yeah, I’m gonna go visit my friend Bayley”

CM Punk is in WWE and seems to have no problem with anyone in the company. But part of his time in AEW was very different.
