Despite Not Being at Peak Physique, 7’1″ Tall WWE Giant Makes Ronnie Coleman Look Tiny in Rare Video

Ronnie Coleman is one of the of the greatest bodybuilders of all time. His impressive beefed up physique saw him win the Mr. Olympia title eight times. As such, it is strange to see ‘The King’ being outdone when it comes to size and physical build, but that’s exactly what happened some years ago.

Bodybuilders are some of the well built and brawny athletes in the world of sports. The only other athletes that can measure up to them in terms of sheer size are pro wrestlers.

In a resurfaced video, the bodybuilding icon, Ronnie Coleman, was seated alongside the former WWE superstar, The Great Khali. However, the size difference between the two was something to behold!

Khali dwarfs Ronnie Coleman in rare video

Ronnie Coleman bested almost everyone who stood beside him during his bodybuilding heydays. Coleman had 24 inches biceps and a chest measuring 58 inches. Although his height was only 5’11” it was never a hindrance to his career.

However, in a rare video from 2016, The Great Khali, who stood at 7’1″ and boasted an impressive physique, clearly dwarfed Coleman.

Rare Footage From 2007 Shows Ronnie Coleman Getting Lured By Former WWE Star, Who Won Championships with John Cena

The footage is from the time, Coleman visited India to attend a bodybuilding festival, alongside the former WWE star. In the video, Khali talked about promoting wrestling as well as bodybuilding in India, while Coleman sat beside him.


The size difference visible here was astounding. The Great Khali had massive 25 inch biceps and his chest measured up to 63 inches, both of which exceeded Coleman’s.

It is pertinent to note that in this video, Khali was not at his peak physique.

The Great Khali in WWE

The Great Khali made his WWE debut in 2006, decimating The Undertaker on an episode of SmackDown. He then defeated ‘The Deadman’ in his first pay-per-view match at Judgement Day. A year later, he entered a feud with the other half of the ‘Brothers of Destruction’. At WrestleMania 23, Khali competed in and won his first WrestleMania match against Kane.

He fell short of winning the WWE Championship after John Cena defeated him at Judgement Day. But glory didn’t elude the giant for long. In 2007, on an episode of SmackDown, Khali won a 20-men Battle Royal to capture the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time.

After losing his title in the same year, Khali donned the gimmick of the Punjabi Playboy and had various feuds. He continued to be a part of the promotion until 2014, when he left after his contract expired. He returned in 2017 to assist the-then WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal, to pick up a win over Randy Orton in a Punjabi Prison match at Battleground.

In 2021, WWE inducted The Great Khali into the Hall of Fame, making him the first Indian to have this honor.
