Brock Lesnar Slayer Bobby Lashley Drops Potential Easter Egg on WWE Retirement: “All of This Will Be Over for Me”

After defeating The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley became the new WWE Champion. At the Premium Live Event Royal Rumble 2022, Bobby busted all the ‘Bobby, who?’ jokes of Brock by winning the Championship.

However, on the last edition of Monday Night Raw, WWE Official Adam Pearce informed that Bobby Lashley has to defend his gold against five other wrestlers at the upcoming Elimination Chamber event.

Bobby recently appeared in a Bleacher Report exclusive interview. Graham Matthews discussed many things with the current WWE Champion including his opponents and retirement plans.

Additionally, Graham mentioned that The Almighty would have to face Brock Lesnar again in the Chamber. However, the WWE Champion seems confident and is excited to defend his gold.

WWE Champion Bobby Lashley praises young roster ahead of Elimination Chamber

The Almighty praised WWE Superstars who would face him in the cage. “Yes, Brock’s in there, but the roster is amazing,” said Bobby Lashley. Bobby added that since his last feud with one-half of the RK-Bro tag team, Riddle has raised his bar inside the square.

He mentioned Riddle has gained some knowledge. One of the most outstanding wrestlers in the businesses, Randy Orton, has mentored Riddle. “Austin Theory is kind of like a little breakout star that we don’t know what he’s able to do. The kid looks like a million bucks. He has a skill set that’s pretty incredible,” Lashley added.

Bobby also stated that AJ Styles is one of those guys whose in-ring name, i.e., The Phenomenal, matches his in-ring action; it is not just a name.

The Almighty is ready to go against the best combatants in the world. He claimed that he is always excited about wrestling, as he wants to test himself and push it to the limit. He said, “Give me the best and let me test myself because sooner or later, all of this will be over for me, and I’m going to retire my boots.

The 45 years old Bobby Lashley is still in impressive shape and can perform at a high level. However, he stated that whenever he hangs up his boots after 20-30 years, Bobby wants to look back and tell the world that he had an opportunity to be inside the ring with the absolute best wrestlers in the WWE.
