The power tides in WWE are always changing. WWE Payback introduced a few interesting twists in the promotion’s dynamics. Starting with the fact that Cody Rhodes brought back the former Bloodline member Jey Uso. Despite the latter being a cousin of Roman Reigns, Rhodes joined hands with Jey because of his current rivalry within his own ‘Bloodline’.

Jey Uso’s return to WWE also foreshadows new upcoming feuds. Rhea Ripley could also be a future opportunity for the promotion to grab if they are looking to find Uso a new opponent. There are a few signs that point in this direction.

The WWE Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley is no stranger when it comes to dominating male superstars. So, there’s no reason why this can’t happen.

The first sign could be the fact that there are not many feud options available for both Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes. There are mere speculations that are floating around, but most of the top stars are engaged in other blockbuster feuds. Shinsuke Nakamura ushered in the next chapter of his rivalry with Seth Rollins by attacking the World Heavyweight Champion after he scored a win over the former at Payback. The feud between Gunther and Chad Gable is also set to continue leaving both Rhodes and Uso with significant hindrances to enter the title picture.

The second reason for this potential feud could be the fact that the duo could aid Owens and Zayn in evening out the numbers game against The Judgement Day. Zayn who earlier donned the stripes of The Bloodline could rekindle his connection with Jey Uso. Payback saw a big shift in power when Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens lost their tag team title to Finn Balor and Damian Priest. An alliance consisting of Zayn, Owens, Rhodes, and Jey Uso could prove a worthy foe against Balor, Priest, Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio. Uso and Ripley might complete each other in this sense.

The third major reason for the potential start of this feud could be the fact that The Judgment Day has established a stronghold in the wrestling promotion. Ripley had earlier suggested that the notorious faction runs the WWE. This claim won’t be taken well by Zayn and Owens who have a personal vendetta and Uso could help out Zayn. Interestingly this also furthers The Bloodline storyline and could have major implications in the future.

Having freed himself from the shackles of The Bloodline, Uso could have a target in mind to dismantle an equally opposing force to atone for his sins. Zayn also resonates with Uso’s feelings and has a personal score to settle with The Judgement Day. Uso could help out his former brother with their interests aligning in this scenario. This could be the fourth reason for this potential rivalry to play out.

The fifth and final reason could play out in a manner that could have major consequences for The Bloodline story that is currently captivating the WWE Universe. Uso could betray Cody Rhodes in a shocking turn of events to add another twist to the ensuing drama. Rhodes aims to finally complete his story and embark on his second quest to beat Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. Jey Uso could force his inclusion into the storied chapter by claiming that its his birthright to take the title off Reigns’ hands.
