“He Latched Onto His Brother”: Jake Paul Audaciouslys Called Out By Former Intercontinental Champion Who Bitterly Insults Him

YouTube sensations-turned-combat athletes Jake and Logan Paul have always divided opinions among people. After Logan Paul’s foray into boxing, he moved over to the world of pro wrestling and signed a WWE contract last year. His brother Jake chose to stay in the boxing ring and boasts an unbeaten professional record.

After transitioning from YouTube content creation both Paul brothers have found success in different fields. . As such, Jake Paul has carved his own place in the world of combat sports. Even though Jake Paul has put up impressive performances and earned the respect of the fans, critics remain unimpressed with his feats. However, one former WWE star remains unconvinced by Jake and had harsh words for him recently.

John Morrison called out Jake Paul

Initially, there was a lot of skepticism around two internet celebrities dipping their toes into combat sports. After Logan Paul had a boxing match with fellow YouTuber KSI, his brother followed in his footsteps. ‘The Problem Child’ became the face of influencer boxing and has since competed against former NBA star Nate Robinson and UFC icons, Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva.

But there are still a few people who remain vary over Jake’s growing popularity and reputation. Speaking on the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast, former WWE star John Morrison shared his thoughts on Jake Paul. The former Intercontinental champion said he got famous from YouTube and credit shouldn’t be attributed to him because he had a “famous brother”.

Morrison mentioned Jake just followed in his brother’s footsteps. ‘The Shaman of Sexy’ continued, “He latched onto his brother. His brother boxed, ‘now I’m gonna box’, he’s just a follower Jake Paul.” Moreover, Morrison challenged Jake to a bout inside a boxing ring. He stated, “If you watched this Jake Paul you know where to find me. If you get tired and want to take a nap in the boxing ring sometime.”

The YouTuber-turned-pro boxer hasn’t responded to John Morrison’s challenge yet. It seems the former WWE star is shooting his shot at being the first person to beat Jake in the boxing ring. Fans will follow the possibility of this crossover happening closely.

Paul’s next big fight

It may be awhile before Jake Paul gets into a boxing ring with John Morrison as the boxer already has hands full in the immediate future. Next month, the Paul brother will put his unbeaten professional record on the line against British pro boxer Tommy Fury.

The 23-year-old Fury is the half-brother of two-time heavyweight champion boxer Tyson Fury. Like Jake Paul, Tommy Fury is also unbeaten in his boxing career with 8-0 record and will look to continue his streak against ‘The Problem Child’.

After many deliberations and previous bouts being canceled between the two, Tommy Fury and Jake Paul are now set to face each other on February 26 in Saudi Arabia. The two men will take home a massive purse from the fight, regardless of the outcome. But fans will be eager to see who comes out on top in this clash between two unbeaten boxers.
