“It Is What It Is” – Triple H Explains His Stance on the Potential Sale of WWE

Not much time has passed since the Elimination Chamber 2023 came to an end. The vibe is still on nevertheless. While we all are almost done with analyzing the match results, coming up with reactions and all, the post-show events have also come up with some worthy updates to look at.

Triple H, the current Chief Content Officer of WWE, spoke out about his neutral stance on a controversial question during the post-match press conference of the 2023 Elimination Chamber.

Triple H replied to a much-hyped question

Journalist Brandon Thurston asked him if he was in favor of the potential sale of WWE prior to McMahon’s return to the business and what is his current stance regarding the matter was. Triple H chose to stay in the middle path while focusing on his main motive of performing his duty at his best.

Detailing his thoughts on this, Paul explained, ”Depends on who’s buying, I suppose, what the offer is, what the outcome is. I stay out of it. That’s not a cop-out answer. I have the greatest gig in the world. I helped, in some small way, create the magic we did here tonight. And to me, it’s the best gig on the planet.”

Moving on, the Hunter added, ”As long as we get to do this, as long as we get to create it the way we get to create it, as long as we get to do our jobs and we get to go out there and put our passion on display. As long as our talent is allowed to put their passion on display and do what we do, I’m good. I’m good. It is what it is.”

Rumors regarding WWE’s potential sale

According to previous reports, Vince McMahon was expected to draw a sum of $9 billion from the sale of WWE. There was also a huge rumor about the world’s biggest professional wrestling company being sold to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. Also, there are many in the scenario who are willing to buy WWE. NBCUniversal and Endeavor are a few among them, with the former having a long-lived connection with WWE.

However, the rumors are still very premature to decide anything. Triple H’s reply also didn’t clear the air about anything at all. We have no option left other than waiting to see what will finally unfold with the biggest sports entertainment giant in the industry.
