Gronk said, “It would definitely be a tag team match, no doubt about that. I just love the tag team aspect of everything. It’s my first time, so I really wouldn’t want to be on my own doing a one-on-one match. I’ll be able to get help and then grow into that role of maybe going doing one-on-one match after a couple of tag teams.”

Rob Gronkowski discussed that he wouldn’t like to do a single match in his early few matches. Instead, Gronkowski would want a tag team partner to accompany him in the WWE because he loves the idea of tag-team partners.
Why does Gronk want to face The Rock after his football career?
The 4-time NFL Super Bowl Champion has had a wrestling experience with the WWE. At WrestleMania 33, Gronk helped former WWE Superstar Mojo Rawley win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. In addition, Gronk grabbed his WrestleMania moment when he pinned Mojo Rawley to win the WWE 24/7 Championship at WrestleMania 36.
“I’m getting put on the spot; it would be pretty cool to have The Rock come back and face The Rock. Or have him as my tag team partner. It would be cool to get a People’s Elbow, but it will also be cool to have him on my squad,” Rob Gronkowski added.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end mentioned that if he got a chance to book a match for himself in the WWE, he would book it against The People’s Champ. The Rock is one of the favorite wrestlers of Gronk, and he would love to take a People’s Elbow from him.
Gronk won his first three Super Bowls with New England Patriots when he played for them from 2010 to 2018. And Gronkowski won his 4th Super Bowl along with his former New England Patriots teammate Tom Brady as a Tampa Bay Buccaneers player.
