The recent Crown Jewel PLE was surely a gripping event for the fans. Moreover, the headliner between Roman Reigns and LA Knight for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship got the fans sitting on pins and needles. As the storyline portrayed, it was evident that Knight was the guy who received massive support not only from the fans in Riyadh but all around the world for that match. But most of them knew that Reigns would be the one to leave the Mohammed Abdu Arena with his strap. Now that he remained triumphant, the fans started anticipating the prospect of Knight after the PLE.

And why not? The guy made waves because of his promos and tried his best to entertain the fans. As a result, not only did he receive their love but also a title shot against Reigns. However, one doubt that might concern the fans is: if WWE is done with LA Knight, will he not be considered as a promising talent by the Stamford-based promotion from now on? So considering his prospects on everyone’s lips, let’s dive deep into this discussion.

Well, it won’t be wrong to say that the main event in Riyadh had a lot of significance for a guy like LA Knight. Where most of the superstars only dreamed of reaching that spot, Knight, with all of his efforts, claimed it. Being a part of such a high-profile contest, and that too against Reigns, who is probably the biggest name in the business, could be a big break for the 40-year-old. Moreover, the fanbase developed by Megastar won’t be leaving him immediately. Given his in-ring charm and persona, there are high chances that the fans will carry on their support like they have been for the former Impact world champion.

And when a superstar has a huge fan base regardless of not having a title, the promotion continues to provide a significant push for that guy. This is basically what was witnessed by the likes of CM Punk, AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan, and many more, who had fans by their side and were ultimately able to become the main event guys in the company.

Indeed, Cody Rhodes is still a major pick who could dethrone Reigns at WrestleMania, but that surely doesn’t mean that WWE won’t consider Knight for a grand push ever. But as of now, how could the promotion utilize a talent like him, considering the huge fanbase that he has?

Mid card titles could be a way to push LA Knight

WWE could use the traditional method of building the LA Knight story. Just like most of the main event guys in WWE did, he might also gain prominence step by step. For that, he would want a secondary title run that would ensure a bright future for him. Currently, Logan Paul holds SmackDown’s United States championship. He is playing as a heel and got hold of that strap against Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel by unfair means. Given his persona inside the squared circle, LA Knight stands as a perfect protagonist who could slay Paul with the fans behind him. With that, he could witness a title run and enhance his prospects.

Other than that, the Intercontinental championship could be another possible strap Knight could aim at. The champion Gunther stands out as the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion in the history of the Stamford-based promotion. He has been unbeaten since his promotion to the main roster and is booked as a dominant heel champion. Knight could be used in a perfect way to dethrone Gunther and win the strap. A win over Gunther would be a massive boost for Knight and place him among the top names in WWE with championship gold around his waist. But these two scenarios may take some time to come to fruition, so what does the immediate future hold for LA Knight?

What could be the future feud for LA Knight?

Leaving Crown Jewel behind, the fans are now waiting for the forthcoming premium live event, Survivor Series, with bated breath. More interesting is the return of the popular War Games in this year’s edition as well. Now we have to see how LA Knight can be presented by the promotion at Survivor Series after his defeat at Crown Jewel.

Maybe he can play an important role in his team’s win inside one cage with two rings set up. He might be the guy who could lead a group or even make a major contribution to its triumph. Moreover, his feud with The Bloodline could continue further, but not against Roman Reigns. Just to let you know, ‘The Tribal Chief’ is said to be skipping the November 25th PLE in Chicago, which might signal a prospective booking of the 40-year-old against Solo Sikoa. Even though the ‘Megastar’ defeated Sikoa previously, he could continue his feud to a further conclusion.

Not to forget the former NXT champion, Karrion Kross, who has been away from the ring for quite a while now, has been touted for a push. LA Knight can be an appropriate adversary for a guy like him. Till the time Knight gets into the title picture, it will be interesting to see how WWE shapes his story considering the huge fanbase behind him. And indeed, the chances of the company snubbing a talent like him seem thin as of now.
