And as we know, it is certainly not novel for the WWE to feature their top star on the cover; Reigns could be an ideal candidate for that. Thus, we could see ‘The Head of the Table’ appearing on the cover of the highly anticipated video game.

This could be the second time for Seth Rollins to appear on the cover

After talking about Roman Reigns as one of the leading candidates, we shouldn’t overlook Seth Rollins, the reigning World Heavyweight champion. He has demonstrated why he has been a mainstay in WWE ever since he held the golden strap. It’s also his fifth world title reign, and it doesn’t appear like it will go away very soon.

Considering his accolades, the Stamford-based promotion could give him a second chance to feature on the cover of a WWE game. Interestingly, it was Rollins who got that chance in 2017, when he was seen on the cover2K18. Thus, this could be the second time Rollins gets this prestigious opportunity.

Rhea Ripley could also be considered

Now that we have discussed the major male champions in the WWE, it also becomes crucial to talk about the ‘Eradicator’, Rhea Ripley. Indeed, the 27-year-old has covered every benchmark of success at such a young age. Her current run as the Women’s World champion demonstrates why she is a prime contender to feature on 2K24’s cover.

On top of that, her dominance with The Judgment Day has only added to her aura. Even more intriguing was when the fans saw her dominating the male superstars, due to which they started drawing parallels with WWE Hall of Famer Chyna. Well, it won’t be new if a woman wrestler features on the cover of the much-awaited game; after all, Becky Lynch was also the one who got that opportunity along with Reigns in 2019, when both got featured on the cover of WWE 2K20.

Don’t forget the name of CM Punk

Enough of discussing the WWE champions; now let’s just shift the talk to the hottest name in the latest WWE buzz. Yes, many of you might have gotten it right. It is none other than CM Punk. Hell finally froze when Punk made his startling return last Saturday at Survivor Series.

And why not? The fans wanted to see him back in WWE for a very long time, and their wish was fulfilled with that emphatic return. Now WWE has the services of Punk it is possible that he could be the one to feature on the cover of WWE 2K24. Without a doubt, despite not being a current champion, Punk stands as a top name because of the love of the fans for him. Leaving everything behind, he has now made amends with the WWE and he is certainly one of the top guys in WWE.

Moreover, on Raw, Punk said that he was here not to make friends but to make money. This could hint that there is a lot more to be gained by “The Best in the World,” and being on the cover can be one such thing.

How about Cody Rhodes?

Cody Rhodes is indeed a valuable asset for the Stamford-based promotion. After leaving WWE, he enhanced his stature in the independent circuit and then in AEW to return as a top draw at WrestleMania 38. But since then, it has been a bumpy ride for ‘The American Nightmare’. His prime motive to return to the WWE was to climb the mountain and win the WWE Championship. Although he was not able to win the title at WrestleMania 39, he is still considered an A-lister in the company.

Given the amount of support he has, he could be another top contender to appear on the cover of WWE 2K24. On top of that, his performance graph has only been increasing since 2022, which might help him to become a matter of consideration for the company.
